With strong support from Delta Air Lines, ERP delivers 75 bicycles to children in a rural South African community adjacent to an ERP game reserve.

Based on generous sponsorship from Delta Air Lines, the Group’s affiliated nonprofit Elephants, Rhinos & People (ERP) recently assembled and delivered 75 new bicycles to children in the Barokologadi community, near the ERP Melorane Game Reserve in the Northwest province of South Africa.  

Children in rural communities typically have to cover considerable distances to attend school and meet family-related obligations. Invariably, they do so on foot and having access to a bicycle considerably lessens their physical burdens, and keeps them safer.

The Delta-funded drop brings the tally of bicycles delivered to rural kids, to over 1,000.
