Esval is one of Chile’s leading water utilities. They recently appointed Group practice Metrocis to implement the full SAP for Utilities (IS-U) technology. This follows an earlier implementation by another firm, discontinued before completion. Metrocis conducted a comprehensive assessment of the halted implementation, which yielded material shortcomings in the approach and methodology.

The engagement was resumed in July 2026, but this time with Metrocis. It is scheduled for completion in July 2027. Drawing on its deep SAP IS-U and SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) know-how, Metrocis will work closely with Esval to modernize its utility operations, refine business processes and improve operational efficiency.
