‘Coffee With America’ is a weekly US lifestyle television show hosted by Sasha Rionda, airing on affiliates including Fox 5 New York, CBS San Diego and ABC San Antonio, as well as nationally through the YTA network, with an estimated viewership of up to 200 million. Its Spanish-language sister program, ‘Café con America’, airs nationally on LATV and on Estrella TV in major US markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston, with a viewership of up to 135 million.

Group Elephant is the primary benefactor of nonprofit Elephants, Rhinos & People (ERP), which specializes in elephant and rhino protection and preservation in the wild, in Southern Africa. Group Elephant Partner and ERP board member Quintin Smith was recently interviewed about ERP on ‘Coffee with America’, and Group Elephant Director Roderick Ripamonti was interviewed in Spanish on ‘Café con America’.

The interviews highlighted fieldwork ranging from primitive but effective ‘beehive fences’ to reduce human-elephant conflict, through to technology-enabled interventions including AI-supported camera traps and the nascent ERP Air Wing, which will use light aircraft and drones to support aerial surveillance and the transport of veterinarians and supplies.
